Angie Aparo is an Atlanta-based artist whose career began in 1997 with the release of his first indie record, titled “Out Of The Everywhere.” While playing coffee shops and small clubs in support of this release, Angie was discovered by Grammy Award winning producer Matt Serletic in ‘98 and was subsequently signed by Clive Davis to Arista Records in 1999.

The disc boasted the single “Spaceship” which enjoyed national radio airplay and some attention from VH-1. Another standout on “The American” was “Cry.” And although it did not garner significant airplay for Aparo, it went on to become the title track and number-one single for Faith Hill on her 2002 release and earned her a Grammy win the following year. Angie went on to pen songs for other Nashville acts, most notably “Big Time” on the multi-platinum selling record by Big & Rich.

Throughout all this, Aparo continued to focus on his career as an artist and building his fan base through touring and the release of his third record “For Stars And Moon.” It was the song, “Child You’re The Revolution” from this disc that caught the attention of producer Dann Huff (Rascall Flatts, LeAnn Rimes, Keith Urban) and subsequently led to Huff producing Aparo’s mid-2006 release, “El Primero Del Tres.”

“El Primero Del Tres” is the first in a trilogy of albums exploring the themes of love and war. The second installment titled “Praise Be” was released in December 2006, and Aparo is currently writing the third. Amidst all this, Angie continues to tour and he also looks forward to maintaining his collaborative relationships with other pop and country artists.
