Juggernauts of Metal Show - Jan 2, 2010

If you have not made it out to one of BoStylez Entertainment's metal fests then your are by all means MISSING OUT. BoStylz is leading a metal movement in Atlanta, gathering our deadliest talent and putting together shows that shake walls and move crowds. His latest show at the Masquerade featured 10 of Atlanta's soon to be metal giants. Leading the way are bands like O.C.O., The Bone Church, Empyre Down and Aborning. We've featured The Bone Church and O.C.O. and each time these two monumental forces play together what occurs is a phenomenon of mass proportions. Each band comes with a sound all their own and leaves a crowd they then own. Video...

It was my first time seeing the rest of the bands on the bill and each was as good as the next. BoStylz Entertainment is doing a tremendous job rounding up talent for his shows. Empyre Down bombarded us with their opener Cooler than that guy...

...and Hellstormers graced us with the more subdued Drab and Empty Life...

Hellstormers are a unique sound. They draw on an array of influences from Lynyrd Skynyrd to Pantera to The Marshal Tucker Band. You can tell they put a lot of thought and importance into including musical elements from all of the bands that gave sway. They even manage to take it punk with the song Don't Slip. Its awesome and you check it out on their myspace pageAlternator is another band making waves in Atlanta's tightknit metal scene. I really like the song We the People because of its hip-hip feel. Here it is from the show...

    Gored by a Dear

    Carosis

See an interview featuring Carosis with Chris from beatlanta here

You can see more videos of these bands and more at beatlanta's youtube channel. Make sure you make it out to BoStylz next Metal Fest on February 20th...

We've seen many of these bands and metal fan or not, you cannot deny the power these bands and this genre brings to the stage. Gritted teeth and clenched fists, circle, circle, windmill and boom...thats the mother fuckin pit calling to you.

This show will be more amazing than the last. 28 bands total and most of them local. Two major national acts. I can imagine before long BoStylz will be taking our metal bands on tour. He's already booking national acts and the ATL's metal scene is on the rise and gaining traction...being led by mofos like Bo of BoStylz Entertainment (also the drummer for O.C.O.).  Don't be absent from the show. CLEAR YOUR CALENDARS...FEBRUARY 20, 2010.

    - gathering Atlanta's finest metal acts to create a musical experience worth your time -

    - representing the ATL -
